Carlton Towers
Original Venue Information:
This is a old estate lake in Carlton, Yorkshire. It is hardly ever fished so most of the fish have never been caught before. There is a excellant head of Tench that seem to average at about 3lb but im sure they do grow alot larger. The are supposed to be alot of very large Carp in the lake, but as of yet no one has been succesfully in catching one. There are an awful lot of Jack Pike and Pike and some excellant sport can be had deadbaiting, Pike to 28lb have been caught. In regards to silver fish (ie Roach, Bream, Skimmers etc) they are in the lake but again nobody seems to be catching them, I did see a Pike swim through my swim (about 3ft off of my bank) with what looked like a nice Bream in its mouth!
